Hotel policy


You can book your accommodation in Corvin Plaza Apartments & Suites in numerous ways (via our website, Facebook, by phone, in e-mail or in person, etc.). Whatever option you choose the official confirmation of reservation has to be in writing. However every confirmed reservation means a signed contract between Guest and Hotel.

How to book

Phone, E-mail:
1. Inquiry: If you wish to make a reservation in direct way (by phone, in e-mail) at first you may contact us and check our rates and availability.
2. Confirmation: After we received the message of your inquiry we will notify you within a few hours about our availability, services and other conditions.
3. Booking: If the rate and conditions are suitable you may confirm your accommodation request with an other e-mail.
4. Confirmation: After then the Hotel will also send a confirmation letter of your booking as an acceptance. Please note that this kind of reservation process may take much time, therefore the Hotel still has the right to refuse your request of reservation in case of risk of overbooking. Please note we can keep the offered price for maximum 24 hours, after this the Hotel has the right to modify the price.
In person: A reservation form is handed over at reception which is to be completely filled out by guest.

Modification and Cancellation

Reservations after check in cannot be cancelled or modified. If you cancel or modify your reservation, the 100% of your full-length reservation will be charged.
Non-refundable reservations cannot be cancelled or modified. If you cancel or modify your reservation, the 100% of your full-length reservation will be charged.
Cancellation / modification within 1 hour after the time of booking, no penalty will be charged. Except for non-refundable reservations.
Individual booking cancellation / modification:
If you cancel or modify your booking up to 5 days prior to arrival no penalty will be charged. If you cancel or modify your booking later, the first night of your reservation will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Group reservation* cancellation / modification:
If you cancel or modify your booking up to 14 days prior to arrival no penalty will be charged. If you cancel or modify your booking later, the 50% of your full-length reservation will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
*Group reservation: Reservation for at least 3 apartments with matching check-in date.

City tax

4% city tax is not included in apartment price. Please note that the payment of that additional cost is due upon arrival.


Parking in nearby streets could be very expensive, 265 HUF (0.8 €) / hour. However our secured underground garage could be a perfect solution.
Parking lots are available at reception for 19 € / day if reserved in advance. Please ask our receptionists for available places!


Unaccompanied minors under 16 years are not permitted to make reservation or check in to the hotel. All children between 16 and 18 must have parental letter of guarantee in order to reserve or occupy an apartment. Parents and guardians are personally and legally responsible for children at all times.


Please note that several offers, promotions, coupons and discounts are available at the same time however they cannot be combined. The Hotel reserves the right to change, amend, modify, suspend, continue or terminate all or any promotional offer at any time without prior notice.

Holiday activities

Tickets purchased through the concierge desk may be obtained from several sources and are non-refundable. All ticket sales are final and cannot be cancelled for any reason. All taxes and fees are included in the total selling price.

Travel Visa

The hotel can only send the official confirmation letter for Travel Visa after the payment is completed by bank transfer. In cases like this, the reservation automatically becomes non-refundable.


We are doing everything for our guests\' well-being, but in spite of our attitude errors may occur (e.g. blown bulb, low battery in remote control). We kindly ask our guests if they face any inconvenience let us know within 1 hour after check-in.
If you missed to notify us on time although the inconvenience is demonstrably happened by the fault of the Hotel, we reserve the right to fix the problem within maximum 24 hours without any compensation.

Loss or Damage

Corvin Plaza Apartments & Suites is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen personal items. Reception is equipped with safety box. Guests should ensure their Travel Insurance covers all such risks.
Should any guests lose personal belongings whilst staying at Corvin Plaza Apartments & Suites, if recovered, the item will be recorded as \'found\'. If a value is left in the apartments after the guest has checked-out, it will be placed in our Lost & Found store. For any items left behind, Guests should get in touch with us. We will ship items back at the owner\'s expense.
Any items in the Lost & Found, which are not claimed within 7 days, will be donated to a local charity or discarded. All belongings left in the apartment next the waste bin will be also discarded. According to health regulation the listed belongs can not be stored: food & drink, underclothes, hygiene supplies (any razors, toothbrushes, cosmetic products ...)

Your complete satisfaction and confidence in Corvin Plaza Apartments Kft are absolutely essential to us.
That's why, as part of our commitment to meeting your expectations, we have set up a customer privacy protection policy. This Charter formalizes our commitments to you and describes how Corvin Plaza Apartments Kft uses your personal data.
"Personal data" means any information collected and logged in a format that allows you to be identified personally, either directly (e.g. name) or indirectly (e.g. telephone number) as a natural person. Before providing us with this information, we recommend that you read this document describing our customer privacy protection policy.
This Personal Data Protection Charter forms part of the terms and conditions that govern our hotel services. By accepting these terms and conditions, you expressly accept the provisions of this Charter.
3.1 Transparency: When collecting and processing your personal data, we will communicate all information to you and inform you of the purpose and recipients of the data.
3.2 Legitimacy: We will collect and process your personal data only for the purposes described in this Charter.
3.3 Relevance and accuracy: We will only collect personal data that is necessary for data processing. We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that the personal data we hold is accurate and up to date.
3.4 Storage: We will hold your personal data for the period necessary for processing the same in compliance with the provisions of the law.
3.5 Access, rectification, opposition: You may access, modify, correct or delete your personal data. You may also oppose the use of your personal data, particularly to avoid receiving sales and marketing information. The details of the department to contact in this respect are shown below (§13) in the clause "Access and modification".
3.6 Confidentiality and security: We will ensure reasonable technical and organizational measures are in place to protect your personal data against alteration or accidental or unlawful loss, or unauthorized use, disclosure or access.
3.7 Sharing and international transfer: We may share your personal data with third parties (such as commercial partners and/or service providers) for the purposes set out in this Charter. We will take appropriate measures to guarantee security when sharing or transferring such data.

This Charter applies:

At various times, we will be obliged to ask you, as a Corvin Plaza Apartments Kft customer, for information about you and/or members of your family, such as:
• Contact details (for example, last name, first name, telephone number, email)
• Personal information (for example, date of birth, nationality)
• Information relating to your children (for example, first name, date of birth, age)
• Your credit card number (for transaction and reservation purposes)
• Your membership number for the AccorHotels loyalty program or another partner program (for example, the airline loyalty program)
• Your arrival and departure dates
• Your preferences and interests (for example, smoking or non-smoking room, preferred floor, type of bedding, type of newspapers/magazines, sports, cultural interests)
• Your questions/comments, during or following a stay in one of our establishments.
The information collected in relation to persons under 18 years of age is limited to their name, nationality and date of birth, which can only be supplied to us by an adult. We would be grateful if you could ensure that your children do not send us any personal data without your consent (particularly via the Internet). If such data is sent, you can contact the Data Privacy department ("Access and modification" clause) to arrange for this information to be deleted.
We do not deliberately collect sensitive information, such as information concerning race, ethnicity, political opinions, religious and philosophical beliefs, union membership, or details of health or sexual orientation.
Moreover, depending on applicable local laws, other information could be considered sensitive, such as your credit card number, your leisure activities, personal activities and hobbies, and whether or not you are a smoker.
In this case, depending on the laws in force in certain countries, your prior consent may be required with regard to the collection of sensitive information.
Personal data may be collected on a variety of occasions, including:
6.1 Hotel activities:
o Booking a room
o Checking-in and paying
o Requests, complaints and/or disputes.
6.2 Participation in marketing programs or events:
o Signing up for loyalty programs
o Participation in customer surveys (for example, the Guest Satisfaction Survey)
o Subscription to newsletters, in order to receive offers and promotions via email.
6.3 Transmission of information from third parties:
o Tour operators, travel agencies, GDS reservation systems, and others
6.4 Internet activities:
o Connection to the websites (IP address, cookies)
o Online forms (online reservation, questionnaires, Corvin Plaza Apartments Kft’s pages on social networks, network login devices such as Facebook login etc.).
We collect your personal data for the purposes of:
7.1 Meeting our obligations to our customers.
7.2 Managing the reservation of rooms and accommodation requests:
o Creation and storage of legal documents in compliance with accounting standards.
7.3 Managing your stay at the hotel:
o Monitoring your use of services
o Managing access to rooms
o Internal management of lists of customers having behaved inappropriately during their stay at the hotel (aggressive and anti-social behavior, non-compliance with the hotel contract, non-compliance with safety regulations, theft, damage and vandalism, or payment incidents).
7.4 Improving our hotel service, especially:
o Processing your personal data in our customer marketing program in order to carry out marketing operations, promote brands and gain a better understanding of your requirements and wishes
o Adapting our products and services to better meet your requirements
o Customizing commercial offers and the promotional messages we send to you
o Informing you of special offers and any new services
7.5 Managing our relationship with customers before, during and after your stay:
o Managing the loyalty program
o Providing details for the customer database
o Segmentation operations based on reservation history and customer travel preferences with a view to sending targeted communications
o Predicting and anticipating future behaviors
o Developing statistics and commercial scores, and carrying out reporting
o Providing context data for the offer push tool when a customer visits the website or makes a reservation
o Knowing and managing the preferences of new or repeat customers
o Sending you newsletters, promotions and tourist, hotel or service offers
o Managing requests to unsubscribe from newsletters, promotions, tourist offers and satisfaction surveys
o Taking into account the right to object
o Using a dedicated telephone service to search for persons staying in Corvin Plaza Apartments Kft hotels in the event of serious events affecting the hotel in question (natural disasters, terrorist attacks etc.).
7.6 Use a trusted third party to cross-check, analyze and apply certain devices to your collected data at the time of booking or at the time of your stay, in order to determine your interests and your customer profile, and to allow us to send you personalized offers.
7.7 Improving services, especially:
o Carrying out surveys and analyses of questionnaires and customer comments
o Managing claims/complaints
o Offering you the benefits of our loyalty program.
7.8 Securing and enhancing your use of our websites, especially:
o Improving navigation
o Implementing security and fraud prevention.
7.9 Conforming to local legislation (for example, storing of accounting documents).
